Q? How long will it take to receive my Gift-It Cake?
A. Cakes are generally mailed within 5-7 business days. Allow up to an additional 5 days for orders with Concierge Service or designs with stones to ship after proof approval. Transit times vary depending on your shipping zip & zone but generally arrive in 2-3 days. In the event of a processing/shipping delay, we will send out an email notification. Please see the shipping page for additional shipping information.
Q? Will my cake be filled with gifts when I receive it?
A. NO. You will fill the boxes with gifts once it arrives to you. UNLESS…you add the concierge service to your order.
Q? What about gifts that are too big to fit in the boxes?
A. Great question! This is a piece that makes Gift-It Cakes so much fun! You simply purchase our Gift-It Bag to place larger gifts in and then you hide the bag somewhere in the celebration area. Use your notecards and a riddle to lead the recipient to their gift.
Q? What are the interior dimensions of the individual boxes?
A. Each box has a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 interior.
Q? Can I use personal photos or pictures?
A. ABSOLUTELY! Use ANY picture, photo or design your lil heart desires. Add your photo to our pre-designed options or choose a custom design for complete creativity and professional help. To design on your own, please follow the artwork guidelines below. If you find you need assistance with laying out your personal design, you can add on the design service here.
Q? Can I use trademarked or copy written images and logo’s in my design?
A. Unfortunately we do not currently hold any licensing rights, therefore we can not print any images that have a valid trademark or copyright. However, if you have a license or are in agreement to use protected images, please send an email with appropriate documentation prior to placing your order.
Q? Can I use nude, profane or racially charged images in my design?
A. No. We will not print any designs that include racist images or verbiage. We will not print images displaying full nudity or excessive, offensive language. If you are concerned with whether or not your design will print, please contact us prior to ordering.
Q? What are the artwork requirements?
A. All artwork must be submitted as follows:
- 12 x 11.75 inches for Quarter Sheets & 6.187 x 6.127 for Single Slices. Download our DesignTemplate here.
- ALLOWING 0.125 for bleed. Anything in the bleed area will not print. Please refrain from putting any text or important elements in the bleed area.
- Background or background color should extend all the way to the end.
- All images used should be vector. Text in .ai must have outlines.
- Files accepted: AI, PDF, EPS, SVG and JPEG in some cases.
Files will be rejected if they do not follow these guidelines, after the 3rd rejection a $52/hour artwork design charge will be applied for the design to be corrected.
